Before betting, players are required to make an ante. The ante amount varies from game to game. Bets are placed into the center pot. The player with the highest hand wins the pot. After each round of betting, the betting continues in a clockwise manner until everyone has called or folded. The limit of bets is two times the initial bet amount. It is customary for players to place an ante before each betting round.
